Spring 2008 VPG Trial
VPG (Vielseitigkeitspruefung für Gebrauchshunde) formerly "Schutzhund," roughly translates into
"Versatility Test for Working dogs."
The trial will be held at
Allgemeiner Hundesport Klub's "Field of Dreams,"

Judge: DVG Judge Ann Dolan of St. Louise, MO.
Helper: Jeff Patton of Portland, Oregon.

ALL TRIAL ENTRANTS:
Please complete the following and deliver before the trial deadline of (TBA) in order to participate,
a late fee of $10 will be charged to permitted late entries:
-Copy of current membership card
-Copy of current Scorebook*
-DVG Trial form**
-AHK Registration form.

*The scorebook must be an FCI scorebook accepted by DVG, USA, USRC, WDA, and AWDF. Questions? See contact info.
**The DVG Trial Form can be found at: "www.dvgamerica.com/forms/formeng3.pdf" It is preferable that the form be filled in on-line and than printed for legibility and completeness. Illegible and/or incomplete forms will not be accepted.
***VPG or IPO I, II, III, FH: $50. BH, Random Search Test: $40. Tracking or Obedience I, II, III: $40. (Combination of 2 of these: $50.) Spectator-only fee: $5 or $10/family. Lunch: $5.
Additional Trial rules and Info:
-Tracking location and time TBA. (Tracking on grass). Call Judy or Cid the week before the trial, see contact info.
-There is a limit of 2 dogs per handler per trial according to the DVG trial rules.
-Your original scorebook must be turned in to the trial secretary prior to the start of the trial.
-There will be a handler's meeting with the Judge before the Obedience work which the spectators may also enjoy.

Dress for the weather and bring a lawn chair. All handlers and spectators are expected to behave in a quiet, courteous and sportsman-like manner. Please do not clap or cheer until each performance is done. Please clean-up after your own dog. No dogs other than those participating in the trial are allowed during the trial.
Breakfast items will be available for a cost at about 10am before the obedience work. Lunch will be served for a cost of $5 per person. There will also be a Judge's Dinner, TBA, contact Judy or Mike for more details.
There will be a Raffle and Silent Auction, to help fund our club. All items will be on display. Please contact Judy or Cid if you have any items to donate.
